Hello There

Hello There

Allow me to introduce myself.

I’m Vincent — a 40-year-old, ADHD-fueled software engineer, IT leader, and enthusiastic tinkerer. I’m endlessly curious about anything related to technology. If something catches my interest, I want to understand how it works.

Most of the projects I build happen quietly. I dive in, experiment, learn, rebuild, refine. Very often, no one sees the process.

But every now and then, I share something with friends or colleagues who share that same curiosity. And they get excited. They ask questions. They want to try things themselves.

I love that feeling — the back and forth that follows, the shared interest and passion.

There’s something powerful about sharing work openly — not to impress (well, maybe just a little), but to inspire. To encourage others to share their work and learn together.

Recently, I lost my day job — and with it, the daily conversations I had for 17 years about what we were building and figuring out. I didn’t just lose work. I lost those small moments of shared curiosity.

This blog is my way of bringing some of that back.

I’ll use it to document my projects, to think in writing, and to build in public. If someone finds inspiration here — or simply enjoys following along — then this workbench is doing exactly what it should.

Welcome.
